We are so excited to welcome everyone back from a well-deserved break. In our Vipers and Cobras classes this week, we’ll be having live lessons all week long. This is a great opportunity for the kids to focus on specific skills and really learn how to apply the techniques we’ve been working on throughout the month.
The Lauzon Life Lesson of the week is Push Yourself & Stay Disciplined. Motivation comes and goes, but discipline is what carries you through when things get hard. Showing up, staying focused, and doing the work—even when you don’t feel like it—is how real progress is made.
Looking ahead, we’ll be having a Kids Buddy Week for our Vipers and Cobras during the week of January 12th through January 15th. This is always a fun week for the kids and a great chance to share the gym with a friend. Please see the front desk with any questions or to sign up a buddy.
Beginning January 9, 2026, we’ll be starting a new Tiny Ninjas Block. This class will meet on Fridays at 5pm and Sundays at 9am. We’d love to see some new faces, but we’re also happy to have familiar faces switch class times if it works better for your schedule. Please reach out to the front desk with any questions.
Gym News
It’s with heavy hearts that we share another loss within our community. Our beloved Mark Chauppetta—known to many as the “Mayor of 6am”—has tragically lost his son, Troy, unexpectedly. Mark is someone who truly embodies what this gym is about. He’s welcoming, supportive, and always there with a smile, encouragement, or a joke to get everyone through those early morning rounds. He has been a constant, positive presence in the gym for years, and his impact on this community runs deep.
Troy was clearly loved beyond words, and our hearts are broken for Mark, his family, and everyone who knew him. If you would like to learn more about Troy’s life or share your condolences, his obituary can be found here:
