Kids News
This week in our Vipers and Cobras classes we are on February Kids Break! The break runs from Monday, February 16th through Sunday, February 22nd.
We build this break into the calendar on purpose. It’s a great time for families (and instructors!) to rest, recharge, and reset. Enjoy the downtime, sleep in a little—and then come back ready to learn and hit the mats hard.
We’ll be sending coaches to support our team at NAGA Hanover on February 28th! To help our athletes prepare, we’re bringing back our Sunday Kids Comp Class leading into the event. This class is a great way to sharpen skills, work on strategy, and build confidence before stepping on the competition mats. Be sure to check out the blog post with full details.
Our new Tiny Ninjas Block is off to a great start! This class meets Fridays at 5pm and Sundays at 9am, and it has been awesome seeing our 3–5 year olds learning how to line up, listen, and move with purpose. If you have a younger child ready to get started—or an older sibling who might want to shift schedules—reach out to the front desk and we’ll help you find the right fit.
🚨 Kids Summer Camp Registration is officially OPEN!
Parents asked for:
-
Longer days
-
A full Monday–Friday schedule
-
More structure with built-in variety
So that’s exactly what we built. Our camp keeps kids active, learning, and engaged all day long—with martial arts, games, team challenges, and structured activities that make the week fly by. If you’re planning ahead for summer, now is the time to grab your spot before sessions fill up. Registration is open here.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Valentine’s Day BJJ Seminar. It’s always one of my favorite days of the year—seeing the mats full, partners supporting each other, and everyone learning together. That kind of community is what makes this place special.

Big fight night coming up!
Alyssa Tortora, Jay Perrin, and Ian Barrett are fighting for Cage Titans at MGM in Boston on February 21st. You can purchase tickets directly through them—they receive commission on ticket sales—so reach out to any of them with questions and let’s pack the house with Lauzon MMA support.
And one more thing…
This week (February 16th–22nd) is Adult Buddy Week!
If you have a friend, coworker, or family member who has been saying, “I’ve always wanted to try BJJ…” this is their sign. Bring them in. We’ll take great care of them, show them the basics, and make sure they feel welcome from day one. Stop by the front desk if you have any questions about how it works.

Enjoy the break, support your teammates, and we’ll see everyone back on the mats soon. 👊
