Sunday Kids Competition Class Is Back! 🏆
Preparing Together for the NAGA Grappling Tournament
We’re excited to announce that Lauzon MMA will be sending coaches to the NAGA Grappling Tournament on February 28, 2026—and that means something big for our kids program…
Our Sunday Kids Competition Class is officially coming back for a special one-month prep block!
This class is designed to help our kids train together, build confidence, and prepare the right way—with structure, support, and coaches in their corner every step of the way.

Why We’re Bringing This Class Back
Competitions can be an incredible experience for kids when they’re prepared properly. This class isn’t just about winning medals—it’s about:
-
Learning how to compete with confidence
-
Understanding rules, scoring, and positions
-
Managing nerves and staying focused
-
Training safely with teammates who share the same goal
-
Having coaches who will be there on competition day
By training together as a group, kids build familiarity with competition-style rounds while still keeping things fun, positive, and age-appropriate.
Coaches at NAGA: Kids and Adults Supported
At the NAGA Grappling Tournament, our coaches will be there to support both adult competitors and our kids. That means:
-
Coaching during matches
-
Help with warm-ups and match pacing
-
Calm, familiar faces matside
-
Guidance before, during, and after each match
We want every athlete—especially our kids—to feel supported and confident walking onto the mat. You can find NAGA registration information here!

Training the Right Way
At Lauzon MMA, we believe competition should:
-
Build confidence, not pressure
-
Encourage effort, not fear of failure
-
Reinforce discipline, respect, and teamwork
This prep class reflects that philosophy 100%.
If your child is interested in competing—or just wants to challenge themselves in a new way—this is a great opportunity to be part of something special.
We’re looking forward to training together and showing up strong as a team at NAGA 💪
