In our Vipers and Cobras classes this week, we’re digging into the butterfly sweep from bottom half guard and reviewing some key techniques from earlier in the month.
This position teaches kids how to turn defense into offense—and it’s one of those tools they’ll use for years as they grow in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

What a weekend!
Friday night at Ring Titans, we saw dominant performances and big wins from Joseph Jones, Randy Costa, and Ian Barrett. Incredible work and energy from everyone who came out to support them!
Saturday morning, several of our students hit the mats at NAGA, showing off their hard work and competitive drive. Win or lose, we’re proud of everyone who stepped up to compete.
Then to wrap things up, we headed over to Cage Titans where Mark McKay secured a slick submission victory. Alyssa Tortora and Brandon Avila both put it all on the line with hard-fought matches that didn’t go their way this time—but the heart they showed was undeniable.

This was one of those weekends where you feel grateful to be part of a team that shows up, works hard, and supports each other no matter what.
